As my kids got older, we got into playing more games together including many different board games and role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons. Part of many of these games is the use of miniatures to represent different things such as enemies, buildings or your character. From the moment I purchased the miniature for my first character I knew I would never be satisfied with plain grey plastic.
As with everything, there are techniques to painting miniatures and it takes practice and perseverance to get good. I've thoroughly enjoyed putting time into developing my skills. The results have really enhanced a few of our games, such as The Thunderbirds board game, Wasteland Express Delivery Service, and Giant Killer Robots. I’ve also painted a number of miniatures representing D&D characters for my daughter and myself.
